Waldorf Music Iridium Keyboard – 16-Voice Dual-Timbral Digital Synthesizer with 49-Key Fatar Polyphonic Aftertouch Keybed
OVERVIEW
The Waldorf Music Iridium Keyboard takes Waldorf’s flagship synthesis platform and elevates it into a fully performance-focused instrument. Expanding on the original desktop design, it introduces a premium 49-key Fatar TP/8SK keybed with true polyphonic aftertouch – unlocking a new level of expressive control where every note responds independently to touch. Combined with a redesigned front panel featuring a one-knob-per-function layout, it offers a seamless and highly tactile workflow for both studio and stage.
At its core, Iridium Keyboard is a 16-voice, dual-timbral synthesizer powered by three stereo digital oscillators per voice, each capable of multiple synthesis methods. From wavetable and virtual analog to granular and sample-based synthesis, it delivers an exceptionally wide sonic palette. With six LFOs, six envelopes, and a powerful 40-slot modulation matrix, users can create deeply evolving sounds with precision and flexibility.
Performance and integration are equally advanced. The multi-touch display provides intuitive visual control, while MPE compatibility enables expressive, multidimensional playing. With 1680 factory sounds from renowned sound designers and compatibility with Waldorf Quantum content, Iridium Keyboard stands as a complete sound design and performance powerhouse – bridging cutting-edge synthesis with hands-on musicality.
