Telegrapher RHINO – Active Analog 4-Way Far-field Main Monitor (Crow Black, Telegrapher Gray, Jaipur Orange, Menton Yellow, or Trooper White) – Pair
OVERVIEW
Active Analog Far-field Main Monitor
RHINO is Telegrapher’s flagship, active analog four-way far-field main monitor, embodying a design philosophy that emphasises a dedicated driver for the upper bass range, delivering enhanced warmth and fullness while maintaining a clinically flat response.
By relying on RHINO as your main monitor for critical mixing and mastering, it becomes the core of your reference setup, helping you make more informed decisions about tonal balance, stereo imaging, and the overall cohesion of your mix.
RHINO represents a design principle that prioritises a dedicated driver for the upper bass range due to its role in enhancing warmth and body.
RHINO is a NAMM 41st TEC Awards 2026 Finalist and SOS Awards 2026 Nominee. Telegrapher is also excited to announce that their very first pair of RHINO is now serving as the primary monitors in deadmau5’s new studio.

Here’s What Makes RHINO Unique
Dedicated Upper Bass Driver for Warmth and Body:
RHINO features a specialised driver solely for the upper bass frequencies. This driver is crucial because it enriches the sound with extra warmth and fullness, adding a distinct body to the overall audio. By isolating this frequency range, the speaker can deliver a more robust and immersive listening experience.
Large Rounded Edges to Minimise Diffraction:
The design incorporates large, smoothly curved edges. These rounded edges help reduce diffraction – the bending and scattering of sound waves when they hit sharp edges – which can otherwise lead to distortions or a loss in clarity. The result is a more precise and natural sound reproduction.
Hybrid Analog Crossover System (Passive + Active):
Rhino employs a hybrid crossover that combines both passive and active elements. By merging these two methods, Rhino achieves lower distortion and leverages the strengths of both systems, ensuring that each driver handles its designated frequency range with optimal performance.
Overall, Rhino’s thoughtful design – ranging from its dedicated drivers and diffraction-minimising construction to its sophisticated hybrid crossover network—ensures that it delivers clear, warm, and accurate sound across all frequencies.
