TK Audio TEQ: A Modern Take on a Timeless EQ Design… Dual-Band Extended Mastering & Mix Bus EQ with M/S Function
The TK Audio TEQ takes inspiration from the classic Baxandall EQ circuit of the 1950s – a design revered for its smooth, natural sound – and reimagines it for modern mastering and mix bus workflows. The result is an EQ that feels instantly musical yet offers the precision today’s engineers expect.

Precision Control for Mastering and Mix Bus Work
With fully stepped rotary controls offering resolution down to 0.25 dB, TEQ is perfectly suited for mastering applications where repeatability and accuracy matter. Both EQ bands feature 10 frequencies and can be switched between peak and shelving modes, making TEQ equally effective for corrective and creative shaping.
Extended Tone Shaping Without Compromise
The selectable extended range allows cut or boost up to ±8 dB, giving engineers the freedom to move beyond subtle enhancement when required. A gentle Q of 0.5 ensures that all adjustments remain smooth and musical, even at more extreme settings.

Built-In Filtering for Cleaner Mixes
TEQ’s high-pass and low-pass filters make it easy to remove unwanted low-end rumble, bass build-up, or excessive top-end harshness. With six selectable frequencies each, these filters are ideal for refining mixes before final print or mastering.

M/S Processing for Enhanced Stereo Control
The integrated Mid/Side function allows separate EQ processing of the mid and side channels, making TEQ a powerful tool for stereo width control, centre focus, and spatial balance. A cue function lets engineers monitor left/right or mid/side signals with confidence.

Designed for Professional Signal Integrity
Gold-contact audio switches, relay-based frequency selection, and an extra-wide bandwidth ensure pristine signal integrity throughout the circuit. With no electrolytic capacitors in the audio path, TEQ delivers exceptional transparency and headroom for critical audio work.
